Something defining and very significant happened: Western Digital snatched third place for „Growth Brand 2014“ in Germany, only topped by Nike and Sony. Growth brand is defined by change of market share YOY combined with change of brand attraction YOY. The study has been carried out by GfK (Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung) and winners are determined solely by consumers and not by a jury. „A HDD manufacturer among Nike, Hugo Boss, Miele etc. it is truly amazing“ says Mr. Mauerhofer, German Marketing Manager of WD and adds: RR, the US WPI agency and Wächter & its media agency media + more made a significant contribution to this success.
